SUMMARY: Develop new and maintain existing ASP.NET applications as well as design and model a corporate level Business Intelligence solution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Provide and support analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation of all Web-Based application systems including some small project management responsibilities. Additionally, creation of an in-house enterprise wide Business Intelligence solution within the SQL2005 environment is required. Additional, but not all, requirements are listed below:
• Design, code, test, deploy, support and maintain the company’s enterprise and departmental ASP.NET/VB.NET applications.
• Provide all stored procedures and in-line queries/sub-queries for various applications within a SQL2005 environment.
• Translate user and/or system requirements into functional technical solutions.
• Develop ETL code and standards using SQL2005 SSIS/Data Warehouse best practices.
• Designs and manages the BI tools and applications environment.
• Work independently and with other team members as required.
• Provides end-user training and support on application usage to all departments as required.
• Provides assistance, support and training to other personnel in the IT department as required.

EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ Years work experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET (2.0), VB.NET, Web Services and SQL2005 Stored Procedures and Queries.
• VS2005
• 2+ Years work experience with SQL 2005 DW/SSIS/SSRS.
• Strong Data Warehouse modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL2005 Server Management Studio.
• Knowledge of DB2 a plus.
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance applications a plus.
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills a must.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

EDUCATION: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent required.
