Program Portfolio Risk Manager

Work for a Leading Retail Company as a Program Portfolio Risk Manager!The Program Portfolio Risk Manager (PPRM) is responsible for working closely with IT and the Business to ensure that the Companys larger IT Programs and Projects are delivered successfully. The PPRM works on an enterprise-wide basis and is involved with the Programs and Projects from the early stages of planning/inception throughout the final delivery and support of the resulting end solution(s).Required Experience 7-10 years with big 4...Accenture, Ernst and Young etc. required 1. 12+ years of proven, hands-on senior level Program/Project Planning and Risk Management experience 2. 12+ successful experience delivering Programs and Projects which cross internal IT and Business boundaries 3. 8+ years experience managing large-scale business and IT Programs and Projects with $3+ million dollar budgets 4. Minimum 7 years Sr. Program/Project consulting experience (due to consultative nature of position) 5. Mulit-industry experience required 6. BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems and/or related business experience required 7. Proven hands-on risk-management, and risk management process, knowledge and experience from similar position/role 8. Extremely strong direct Program/Project delivery experience preferably within a retail and/or grocery oriented environment 9. Senior level experience with VP level executives and/or project/program managers at Fortune 500 companies 10. Strong verbal and written communication skills 11. Demonstrated effective experience with executive level internal and external resources 12. Strong leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills 13. Experience developing and leading a collaborative, team-based problem-solving approach 14. The ability to learn other internal Safeway systems to expediently process work 15. Must be (and stay) current with technology as it relates to the retail and/or grocery industry 16. Very strong to expert level hands-on MS Project Server toolset experience 17. Strong, proven client relationship management skills 18. Experience with an extremely wide variety/types of Programs and Projects preferably in a risk-management role 19. Ability to help define/refine Program/Project/Risk Management processes to meet changing internal and external needs 20. Strong presentation skills in order to successfully communicate with the client and internal service provider group(s) 21. Excellent analytical skills in order to successfully understand impacting strategic issues, goals, and objectives as well as the broader enterprise context strategic issues, goals, and objectives 22.
