Program Manager, CTS Product

Job ID: 250281Position Description: The Program Manager, CTS Product Program Office plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency in the organization. The Program Manager will partner with the leaders of the CTS Product organization, owning and/or facilitating operational activities. Key areas of responsibility include program management, financial management (budget and forecasting) for the larger technology investments in consulting and capital, and technical resource investment management. The Program Manager will also engage more deeply in technology operational areas, such as vendor management, license management and ensuring performance management of Product's production systems. The successful Program Manager will be an outcome-driven professional with excellent communications and collaboration skills and a familiarity with development processes and the resulting application/system implementations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and well-versed in program management techniques. He/she will then combine this expertise with an understanding of the business and organizational dynamics to drive results. Key Job Functions: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the CTS Product program and more detailed technical project portfolio, including staff assumptions and balance, budget requirements and interdependencies Manage the program to successful delivery by working with the technology directors, managers, technical leads, and program stakeholders (e.g. GTS team members) Understand and regularly review the consulting and capital spending plans. Ensure that alignment between operational needs and budgets is maintained. Communicate with Finance and GTS as needed regarding these areas. Support the Program Administrator as needed in ensuring that invoices are managed throughout the purchasing lifecycle. Support the Program Administrator as needed in managing license and vendor agreements across the platform. Engage with GTS to drive the delivery of capacity plans and review of capacity using metrics and reports. Engage with the broader Program Management team in overall Product program, budget, recruiting, and staffing activities as needed.Position Requirements:A professional with the ability to engage in a team in a collaborative fashion, focusing on outcomes while maintaining quality and integrity in the approach Ability to identify risks and issues proactively, and drive creative solutions. Is familiar with the fundamentals of project management (estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, communication planning) Understands the development project lifecycle Has a good degree of technical understanding, to be able to follow and participate in technical conversations Has experience in vendor management Competence with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
