To be part of the program management team supporting project and program managers in the complete product development cycle in delivering 1x products to market.Responsible for providing skilled planning/scheduling/administrative support including the following:Working with the project/program Mgr/engineering team, local and offshore to participate in creating and maintaining project plans & schedules, risk plans, summary status presentations, web pages, and other data collection. Assist with generating status reports and in identifying and flagging leading indicators of project issues: schedule slip trends, risks, conducting critical path analysis. Will be able to recommend mitigation actions. Logistical coordination and delivery of development platforms (SURF/FFA/test boards). Coordination across multiple development sites is required including other internal as well as contractors and 3rd party partners, both domestic and international. Work closely with IPS program managers to keep hardware plans up-to-date. Must create and maintain internal pages with plans and other information as required for the project. Actively participate and assist chipset program.Strong knowledge of MS Office, with MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Word. Detail and ability to manage data from multiple sources and establish clarity. 3+ years in a product development environment, preferably in a wireless technology. 3+ years of planning/scheduling experience, involving both HW and SW. Exp. with planning/scheduling methodologies, knowledge of advanced concepts such as Theory of Constraints is a plus.
