Printer Technician
Knowledge Information Solutions, Inc. is a rapidly growing woman-owned small business headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Established in 1983, we are dedicated to providing quality computer products and superior managed IT services.
We are in search of a Printer Technician to perform repairs on a variety of printer types and brands at client sites.Â
Duties include:
·        Accurate diagnosis and repair of laser, ink jet, dot matrix, LED and label printers
·        Provide excellent customer service
·        Troubleshoot  problems and install software and network cards
Â
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
·        Basic understanding of electronics and networking – specifically relating to printers and copiers
·        Knowledge of customer service best practices – must be able to speak clearly, listen well and communicate patiently and with accuracy
·        Must be able to read and understand technical service manuals
·        Superior problem-solving abilities
·        Will serve as on-call technician after hours
·        Involves sitting, standing, walking; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
·        Must have own transportation and a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
