The Heiden Group has been retained by a leading value added network solutions provider to fill a Pre-Sales Engineer position located in the greater DC area (office in Reston). Our client's comprehensive portfolio of solutions consists of unified communications, wireless, security, optical, telepresence, storage, managed and hosted services as well as supporting network, systems and Microsoft infrastructure solutions. Working with its partners, they address the complete technology lifecycle - planning, designing, integrating, operating and optimization of networking and system solutions. Our client also represents leading technology innovators such as EMC, IBM, Microsoft, NetApp, Nortel and Sun. The company has a particularly strong relationship with Cisco, ranking as the eighth largest Cisco partner and third largest Cisco Unified Communications reseller in the country.  Candidates will have a strong understanding of data networking, IP routing, BGP and Dynamic Routing Protocols.  A good understanding of MPLS as well as understanding of various carrier offerings is a must.  This position requires face to face technical discussions with the customer so candidates must be savvy and able to present solutions as well as answer customer questions and objection.  Our client rewards well for performance with an extremely aggressive commission package and offers great solution training.
