The Performance Engineer will possess advanced knowledge of application performance and quality concepts. In addition, this individual will assist inthe development of Performance Engineering (PE) processes. Furthermore,this person will develop and implement the testing approach/plan for criticaland high priority projects. This person will also promote the PE processes toall facets of the EIT organization with which he/she interacts.


MUST HAVES:

• About five years of QA/Testing experience
• At least three years of performance engineering experience with HP LR/PC, with experience in multiple protocols
• Leads performance scenario identification, test design, and specification
• Leads team of performance test engineers (manual and automation)


DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the development and implementation of PE processes.
• Participate in tool evaluation, integration and evaluation.
• Develop and implement PE testing approaches/plans for critical and largescale projects including but not limited to all aspects of the Discovery,Construction and Execution/Analysis phases.
• Ensures PE processes are followed on all projects.
• Utilized process automation where applicable.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives.
• Provide at least a single PE tool expertise and administration (asnecessary).
• Facilitate communication of PE process changes to appropriate groups.
• Estimating PE effort at the project level.
• Facilitating the completion of external audit requests.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education:
• BS in Computer Science, Business or related job experience.
• Advanced level of certification in performance testing tool (e.g. HP CPC –Certified Product Consultant)

Minimum Experience:
• 4+ years in software quality field.
• 2+ years in PE discipline with all of the following LoadRunner protocols:
o Web HTTP/s
o SAP – Web
o SAP GUI
—OR—
• 2+ years in end user application monitoring through BAC.
• 3+ years’ experience with HP Quality Center or comparable tool.
• 2+ years’ experience with functional automation tool (WinRunner,QuickTest Professional, Robot, RFT, SilkTest, QARun, etc.)
• Experience in at least two of the following LoadRunner protocols:
o Web Click and Script
o WinSock
o DB
o VoiceXML
o RDP
o Citrix
o Web Services
o GUI VUser (WinRunner or QTP)
