Description PeopleSoft Technical Architecture Specialist Organization: Systems Integration and Technology Location: Atlanta, GA The US Delivery Center organization is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions. The Delivery Center model is based on the principle that efficiencies and economies of scale are achieved through procedural best practices and centralized relationships for our clients specializing in finance and accounting, procurement, customer service, human resources and other services. Our USDC employees can expect to: work with cutting edge technology deliver high-quality solutions across multiple industries work on a variety of projects ranging in both size and scope receive continuous training and career development Job Description This role includes providing regular and accurate status information to Tech Team Lead, providing input into the release management process, supervising the Operations Team and reporting technical issues, as necessary under the direction of the Tech Team Lead. Responsibilities: Maintain the integrity of the production and development environments Supervise the relationship with client on technology related items Responsible for directing and or performing all technical team activities for the production environment. Supervise the transition of projects into the production support realm, including evaluating operational readiness Responsible for achieving assigned service level performance measures. Accountable for meeting, measuring, and reporting against service levels and quality goals. Responsible for reporting operating level variance. Responsible for end user satisfaction. Helps develop work plans and budgets, preparing schedules, estimating work effort, reporting status, and ensuring that standard procedures are performed. Coordinates services with supporting organizations and third party hardware/software vendors. Works with key users/customers and with account manager to resolve issues, clarify service expectations, and identify business requirements. Coordination with the DBA team in support of the development and production environments. Disaster recovery testing and coordination of final deliverable completion Qualifications Basic Qualifications 3 years of PeopleSoft Infrastructure administration experience 3 years of technical trouble-shooting experience for PeopleSoft Bachelor's Degree Required Work Requirements Primary location for work is the Atlanta Delivery Center. All candidates must be willing to travel when business needs require it and travel may be up to 100%. Typical level of travel for this level is 0%-50%. Professional Skill Requirements College Degree Customer relationship management Strong written and verbal communication Teamwork/collaboration Customer service focus Attention to detail and organization Solid client/server technical background PeopleSoft implementation, conversion, migration and/or interfaces experience PeopleSoft 8.x technical architecture knowledge (PIA, tuning/troubleshooting/integration) General Unix OS skills (shell scripting is desired) General Windows OS skills Preferred Skills Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with third-party vendors. Ex. Open PeopleSoft cases and resolve, Open BEA cases and resolve, Microsoft, etc. Ability to write UNIX shell scripts and windows scripts Ability to lead small to medium size projects consisting of 2 – 10 people Disaster recovery testing for PeopleSoft Securing a PeopleSoft environment Architecture design, sizing, and procurement of hardware Preferred Degree in: Engineering (all disciplines) Computer Science / Computer Engineering Information Systems / Decision Sciences Mathematics / Statistics / Sciences Related technical discipline At least a 3.0 GPA in technical majors To submit resumes online Click Here Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
