PeopleSoft Programmer / Analyst

Modis is one of the world’s largest providers of information technology staffing services and solutions.  Currently we have more than 6,000 information technology professionals on assignment worldwide.  We serve more than 1,500 clients throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Responsibilities:•  Develop & support new & existing PeopleSoft on-line applications within the HRMS 8.x module (payroll, HR, benefits, self service)•  Develop & support new & existing SQR programs•  Communicate with end users•  Work with end users to troubleshoot problems, analyze, define & spec new applications•  Participate & assist with upgrades•  Assist with Oracle tuning/optimizing SQL Qualifications: •  5 yrs min. PTools/SQR development/support for Psoft HRMS•  3+ yrs on PSoft 8.x HRMS•  Bachelor’s degree •  Excellent Oracle/SQL skills •  Excellent problem solving skills•  Excellent customer service skills•  Self motivated•  Ability to verbally communicate effectively (i.e.; with end user staff or mgt., store personnel, team members, etc.).•  Ability to prioritize and organize work related tasks and special projects•  Ability to adapt to a changing environment (i.e. shifting priorities)•  Ability to work well independently and/or in a team environment.•  Ability to meet deadlines Company: Modis, Inc.
