One of Tier1Technologies strategic clients located in the Northern Va area currently is looking to fill the position of PeopleSoft HR Technician.

Must be US Citizen.

No Third party replies.

Validates the quantity and quality of data migration from multiple subsumed legacy systems to one newly developed target system (DIMHRS with PeopleSoft application software and IBM DB2 database).

Develops complex SQL queries and scripts to analyze target and legacy system data.

Able to understand complex transformation and database loading logic created by others.

Good problem solving skills are required as well as ability to multi-task assignments.

Works with system owners to understand their data and validate transformation logic in technical documentation for feasibility, accuracy, and current correlation with coded program logic.

Due to high volume of data, must be able to tune complex SQL.

Provides programming expertise to assist other members across concurrent project tasks.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Additional Skill Requirements:

Must have experience with PL/SQL and SQL programming

Must have experience with ORACLE SQL

Programming experience with Structured Query Record Writer (SQR)

Experience with Oracle databases

Experience with Microsoft Sequel databases (a plus, not required)

Experience with IBM DB2 database and query language (Oracle experience substitutes)

Knowledge of Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) concepts or tools is a plus

Knowledge of relational database design and modeling

Past experience with Version Control Tools is a plus
