Functional PeopleSoft HCM resource with extensive experience in implementing, upgrading and maintaining PeopleSoft HCM. The resource must have experience working with the various modules within HCM, such as Self Service, Recruitment/TAM/CG, Workforce Administration, Training Administration, Competency, ePerformance and Base Benefits in releases 8.9 and 9.0.  Also must possess proven skills and abilities in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis and implementation practice demonstrated by thorough understanding of the delivered HCM functionalities, its underlying business processes and capabilities.  Experience working with Federal Government functionality, the Person model, Security and Workforce Analytics is a plus. 

 

The Level II Business Analyst is a position requiring 5-9+ years of demonstrated analyst experience using modeling languages, technical product life cycle concepts and requirements engineering, among other applied skills and knowledge.

 

PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 or 9.0 functional certification. Extensive functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 and 9.0 for Self Service, Recruitment/TAM/CG, Workforce Administration, Training Administration, Competency, ePerformance and Base Benefits.

 

Knowledgeable of delivered HCM 8.9/9.0 functionalities, its business process purposes and underlying table setup and configurations. Working experience with defining and configuring HCM 8.9 and 9.0 workflow, and business policies. Working experience with designing and implementing self-service function. Working experience with delivered integration processes and data exchange between PeopleSoft suites: HCM, FMS, EPM, and CRM.

 

Working experience with gathering and analyzing user requirements, performing fit/gap analysis and developing prototypes. Ability to understand a client’s business quickly and translate that understanding into a well-designed IT solution. Ability to ask the ‘right’ questions to draw out the requirements to assist the business unit making the right decision. Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.  Should be able to provide accurate problem analysis to the business unit and follow up with documentation.

 

Has significant PeopleSoft HCM implementation and support experience to provide patch/fixes analysis and to analyze production architecture and process methodologies.

 

Working experience with using the delivered query and report capabilities: PS Query, Crystal Report, XML Publisher.  Knowledgeable of the Business Process Management framework. Knowledgeable of PeopleTools 8.48, 8.49.
