Payroll Manager

Full-time Payroll & Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to support fast-paced finance department. Will oversee and develop a staff of two AP Clerks and one Payroll Specialist.

Responsibilities: * Coordinate the semi-monthly payroll process for an 1000+ employee organization * Manage the ADP payroll relationship * Train and evaluate team members and aid in coaching and developing employees to ensure that they are knowledgeable and competent. * Liaise with management, vendors, staff, and inter-company departments to provide a high level of support * Partner with GL accounting and the procurement department in a variety of activities * Develop and maintain payroll and AP policy and procedures to ensure proper internal controls and efficient processes. * Manage the setup, maintenance, and interface between the systems involved in the payroll process entering, posting, and reconciling AP batches * Managing the accounts payable and payroll configuration within PeopleSoft Qualifications: * Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Prior management experience required * Experience with ADP highly preferred * Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS highly preferred * Multi-State Payroll experience highly preferred Certified payroll professional (CPP) designation is preferred Education Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. * Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS highly preferred Experience Recommended: * 5 years' payroll experience
