Our offerings are a mix of services, and the ideal candidate will have previous success in both product & services Marketing. This person will work closely with the Executive Team, Consulting, Sales, US Marketing, and Product organizations, and reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing. Position Summary MessageLabs is looking for an energetic, talented Product Marketing Manager responsible for the global product marketing of our management services. Reporting to the SVP of marketing you will be responsible for US product marketing decisions relating to SaaS Management Services. This position will drive the requirements and launch activities of new product offerings. Working closely with the Product organization this person will be responsible for defining market requirements, collecting competitive intelligence, identifying and sizing market opportunities, understanding buyer needs, enabling the sales force and defining the go-to-market message.  Product Requirements Definition• Conduct industry, competitive, and customer research to identify and target focused market opportunities. Clearly define and communicate the opportunities and plans with MessageLabs personnel at all levels. • Collaborate with internal and external parties to develop Market Requirements Documents (MRD) for new offerings.• Work with Product management team to prioritize product roadmap based on maximum market opportunity.• Work with product and services teams to define competitive pricing.• Work with the sales team to understand client requirements and map solutions to meet them.• Work directly with key customers to validate and seed market opportunities.• Continuously monitor the market landscape to maintain relevance and stay ahead of competition.•Develop marketing, regulatory, security, product and operational programs to support the success of the service in the market  Positioning and Sales Force Enablement• Develop compelling messaging and positioning. Clearly articulate value propositions and differentiation.• Develop and deliver sales education and materials for winning business in targeted markets.• Work with marketing team on campaign activities that increase awareness and drive demand.• Act as a spokesperson for the product line including article submission and blog postings.• Develop relationships with important industry luminaries, including bloggers, analysis, and other market influencers.• Work with others across the company to create and execute appropriate launch plans. Qualifications (Skills, Training, Experiential, and Travel Requirements): As the bridge to the Product, Service and Sales teams this individual must be team oriented, strong communicator and highly collaborative. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated and a natural leader. MBA preferred.
