PC Refresh Technician

H-P Systems Tech (PC & Cisco)     The Job: Provide technical support to Getronics field service reps and customer technical personnel for HP PC based systems and Cisco networking gear.   The Responsibilities: Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging routine hardware, software or networking equipment problems; equipment includes Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Peripherals, Routers, and Switches.   *Provides hardware support and maintenance including installation, upgrades and warranty repairs. *Works closely with the customer to schedule service calls and provide frequent status on their request/problem. *Assist in the Client Asset Refresh process.  Activities include deploying new PCs transferring data, and wiping hard drives for PCs identified for disposal or re-use. *Records, tracks, escalates' and updates' calls through established tracking systems.   The Requirements: *High School diploma or GED and 1-3 years of relevant experience *Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds *CompTIA A+ Certification *CompTIA Server+ Certification *Able to work independently *Proficiency with Windows 2000 and MS Office *Certified HP (APS) - HP ProLiant Servers [2005]  *Certified HP (APS) - HP Commercial Desktop, Workstation and Notebooks *Cisco hardware experience   We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
