The principal objective of the Pre-Sales Engineering role is to demonstrate and sell the value of the Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications and RCM’s technical and delivery solutions.  A Pre-Sales resource will have deep understanding of Oracle EBS Applications’ software functionality, on both the technical and applications side, in order to build and demonstrate a concise, logical solution for the RCM customer.  This position will be located in the RCM office in downtown LA.  Local candidates preferred, although relocation is an option as well.

 

As a leader on the sales team, the Pre-Sales Engineer engages in all stages of the sales cycle by participating in the following activities:

 Uses strong understanding of business processes and EBS functionality, particularly in Finance and Supply-Chain solutions, to achieve success during the sales cycle.  Works alongside Account Managers to create and tailor a sales process, sales strategy and develop demonstrations in the selling process. Takes ownership in creating solution-oriented presentations and documentation at all stages of the sales cycle. Performs on-site surveys to gather requirements to scope out the necessary modules, customization, solution architecture, interfaces, and data conversion and to prepare for software demonstration. Configures Oracle Applications to effectively demonstrate and present Oracle solutions to meet customer needs, i.e. conducts “demos.â€� Transitions notes, details and requirements related to prospects/ customers to the implementation delivery team.

 

Requirements:  2-4 years experience implementing/selling Oracle applications or project management and Oracle EBS demo skills are MANDATORY. Siebel knowledge or demo skills also a plus.2 - 5 years of sales support ("pre-sales"), solution architecture and/or consulting experience required. Solid business analysis experience and ability to apply technology to resolve issues.Experience with application software on PC's, midrange, and mainframe platforms for specific functional area. Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal. B.S. or equivalent experience.Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; skill in time management, handling multiple priorities and taking initiative.
