Job Description
Oracle Business Intelligence Lead
Business Intelligence Application Lead responsibilities:
• Design & Develop OBIEE Metadata/Logical Data Model
• Translate BI requirements into analytics BI subject areas
• Design & Develop OBIEE user interface objects (e.g. reports, dashboard, BI work flow, etc.)
• Drive collaboration with the DBAs & Data Integration Lead to:
• Design & Develop Physical Data Model
• Determine whether measure calculations and processing should be done in ETL or metadata
• Determine requirements for aggregate tables and SCDs
• Define BI application and data security model
• Understand BI Business Strategy & Requirements
• Estimate OBIEE Project & Support Efforts
• Mentor/lead OBIEE Developers thru implementation efforts
• Communicate design, build and test effort progress & issues to BI Project Manager •
Business Intelligence Application Lead skills & experience:
• 5+ years BI Developer experience (hands-on)
· 3+ years full phase technical developer experience with OBIEE/Siebel Analytics
• 2+ years of OBIEE application design, build, test, experience including requirements gathering, ownership of metadata and dashboards/reports
• Deep project management skills, including work estimation, work plan creation/maintenance, issue management, risk management, change request management, and project communications
• Excellent spoken and written communications
• Project leadership experience
• Technical and functional experience with one or more of the following Oracle Financials (GL, FA, AR, AP), PeopleSoft Campus Solutions/Financials/HR, etc.
