Oracle Application Developer
►This role would be responsible for design, developing, testing, and deploying application code in support of the Oracle eBusiness Suite. This role would need to be proficient in multiple modules of the Oracle applications, would understand the underlying data architecture, and would be able to develop interfaces as required to external applications. ►Provide production support for the Oracle applications related to order fulfillment. This includes 7x24 coverage for emergency conditions.►Identify and propose technical solutions that meet business requirements.►Perform problem analysis, debugging and coding as part of production support and new development.►Create technical specifications and unit test plans.►Provide work effort estimates.►Assist with the build release process as required. This is an off-hours activity.►Work with End-Users, DBA Team, Functional Team, Operations, and Infrastructure Teams as required on problem resolution and enhancements.►Solid experience with Oracle apps (11.5.9 or greater) including OM, INV, WIP and AR. An understanding of Oracle Install Base is a plus.►Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills including performance tuning.►Strong Oracle workflow, SQL Loader, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports skills.►Working knowledge of Unix shell scripting►Demonstrate strong technical and business problem solving capabilities.►Experience in a production support environment.►Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.►Motivated self-starter with positive attitude, team oriented, and passionate about your work►Project Management experience and training►Experience with a formal implementation methodology or software development lifecycle►Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study is required.►7 or more years of IT experience in design, development, debugging, and production support of Oracle e-Business applications.
