Oracle Application Architect/Technical Lead

Ranked in the Top 50 of "The Best Places to Launch a Career" - Business Week.Requirements:As an Oracle Application Architect/Technical Lead you will be responsible for leading and/or participating in all aspects of the design, development, and deployment of the Oracle solution and related components (e.g., interfaces, conversions, etc). Some of the activities that you may be a part of include: * Process definition and design * Requirements definition, mapping, and gap analysis * Oracle application extension design and prototyping * Definition of the overall Oracle application/data base architecture (e.g., the Oracle application, interfaces, converted data, reporting, etc.) * Establishing and managing Oracle development standards and best practices * Conduct design reviews mapping functional requirements to technical requirements to object designs * Manage all Oracle development including: server configuration, scripting, and code development. * Manage test scenario definition, script development, and execution * Manage application deployment planning and execution In this role, you will be expected to provide leadership in all technical aspects of an Oracle initiative. This position will require you to leverage your deep technical knowledge and broad Oracle experience. Additionally, this individual must be able to effectively interact with client representatives, project management, and fellow team members (both inside and outside of the immediate team) in the development of solutions that address the people, process, and technology needs of the organization. Also important to your success in this position is the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions. Individuals being considered for this position must have the following skills: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills * Over 7 years of consulting/client facing experience dealing with mid to executive management (Director level and above) * Outstanding teamwork skills * Experience managing projects with PERT networking and analysis tools (e.g. Primavera, MS-Project, etc.) * Demonstrated analytical and qualitative abilities * At least 5 years of Oracle applications implementation experience * Participation in each phase of at least 5 full Oracle ERP implementations * Strong technical foundation including; Oracle Systems Administrtion, Oracle Applications Data Base Administration, structured programming - PL/SQL, Java, etc., understanding of relational database concepts and structures, knowledge of Fusion Middleware, structured system analysis and design methods, etc. * Technical Lead / Application Architect of at least two full Oracle ERP implementations * Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodologies In addition to the minimum requirements listed above the following additional skills would be considered nice to have: * Oracle Workflow * Demantra Data Structures * Oracle Analytics * BEA Aqualogic * Tibco Middleware * WebMethods Middleware Job Title: Oracle Application Architect/Technical Lead Location: San Jose, CA 95101 Job Status Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development
