Network and Database Administrator

Celestech is looking to grow our team of highly skilled technical people with the addition of a network and database administrator to perform system administration and database administration activities.  We are considering direct employees and qualified contractors (1099) to fill this positions based upon your experience and desires (no third parties, please). This position will support the development and testing of state-of-the-art satellite communications systems using export-controlled technology.  Because of this, U.S. Citizenship is a requirement. 

 

The engineer will support network and database administration activities, as well as network security activities and related testing.

 

2 or more years of experience in the following areas are required:

 Oracle 10 database administrationSun Solaris administration and Sun T1000 and T2000 serversCisco router, switch, and Gateway administration and configurationExperience with complex SNMP-based network management applications

 

Bachelor’s Degree in EE, CS, Math, Physics or related area or equivalent work experience is required.  The ability to travel for short periods of time is required.
