You must hold a current and active Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph to qualify. Essential Job Functions Conducts testing of information technology products, networks, and systems. Develops and executes advanced, tailored testing strategies and plans. Incorporates and uses penetration testing tools as applicable. Actively analyzes security functions for design weaknesses, technical flaws and system vulnerabilities and recommends countermeasures. Knowledge of network and platform operating systems is required. Understands and adjusts testing techniques appropriately to various system environments. Experience in the intelligence community and a current Top Secret Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is REQUIRED. Plans, conducts and oversees highly complex projects or major phases of significant projects; Acts a technical lead in security network engineering efforts. Conducts investigations and tests of complex security software systems to enhance performance or investigate and resolve matters of significance. Reviews completion and implementation of technical products to ensure success and timeliness. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of more complex network security projects. Recommends corrections in complex technical applications and analysis to enhance performance. Acts as the initial contact with vendors on more complex projects to provide required products or services. Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Provides technical consultation to other organizations; interacts with senior customer personnel and internal senior management. Provides the customer base with first level support. Performs comprehensive security assessment of all designs within all enterprise networks, advises senior level executives of network vulnerabilities, and develops procedures and polices to rectify. Develops and coordinates plans for periodic penetration testing of all applications and network elements for adherence to federal regulations. ~ Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, network engineering, or related field preferred Nine or more years of experience in network security engineering or operating systems programming Experience working with security software design principles Other Qualifications Analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve highly complex software design issues and create new software Leadership skills to mentor, oversee, and lead team members Interpersonal skills to interact with senior customers, management and team members Communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel Ability to synthesize broad and narrow concepts of high complexity and use them to meet company objectives Ability to work independently and as part of a team Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:TS/SCI w/ FS Polygraph Create Success
