Network Operations Manager
We are seeking an aggressive highly motivated leader with 8 years experience in managing technology infrastructure projects and 2 years direct supervisory experience of IT infrastructure personnel. This person will oversee, manage and set the strategic direction of WAN/LAN infrastructure in accordance with the VP of IT�S long range information technology objectives.Candidate will determine long-term systems needs and hardware acquisitions to accomplish the organization�s business objectives. Position will also manage the networking infrastructure staff (2 currently) and monitor support staff to ensure the maintenance of excellent delivery of support and system availability. � MCSE Required.� College Degree or equivalent experience required.� CCIE and CCNP certifications are preferred.� Solid communication and project management skills.� Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and multi-vendor internetworking technologies.� Comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure technologies and services including: Cisco IOS, switched Ethernet,TCP/IP,VPN; Network security including firewalls and intrusion detection.� Comprehensive understanding of network services including Active Directory, WINS, DNS and DHCP.� MS Exchange experience required. � Excellent leadership, analytical, group facilitation and management skills.� Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of staff from clerical to executive management.� Must have understanding of current information technology with an ability to conceptualize solutions to business problems in the most effective and cost-effective manner.Position will actively participate in the technical network infrastructure deployment/maintenance and assist in overflow infrastructure support as needed. Ultimately, the position will be responsible for the overall management and availability of AAF�s WAN/LAN, servers, applications, development aids/tools, databases, cabling, data and voice-related infrastructures.
