Network Operations Center Associate
Since 1994, iCorps Technologies provides superior IT consulting services to small and mid-sized clients in various industries such as biotechnology, advertising, venture capital, and architecture. We’re currently seeking a Network Operations Center Associate for our Charlestown office.
Job Description:
This position will work with our talented NOC and consulting team to provide premier consulting services and solutions to our growing group of clients and internal customers.
Responsibilities: Provide seamless tier 1 support to both internal and external clients Help maintain and upgrade network operations, help desk and monitoring systemsProvide clients with various technical services pertaining to networks, workstations, remote computing, communications, and internet solutions Properly identify changes, make recommendations and implement technical solutionsTrack and manage key iCorps and customer data, and issue tracking information
Required Skills/Experience:Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Experience troubleshooting and supporting various technology environments, over the phoneSolid understanding of operating systems, connectivity, security, and emailSolid in Windows 2003 both server and desktop, Active Directory, DNS, OutlookKnowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Macintosh, Linux and firewalls a plus.Outstanding and proven communication, and organizational skills requiredMust have excellent phone etiquette as well as customer service and interpersonal skillsCandidates must have an ability to work well independently, and must have excellent follow-up skills and be process driven with scheduling flexibility to ensure resolution of critical client issues
