Provides a testing and development environment for 3 disparate geolocations. The software built ends up shipping on Consumer Electronic products. Daily Responsibilities: Maintain NetBackup procedures. Get price quotes for equipment from approved vendors Install server hardware in data center. User permissions and account administration. Infrastructure services maintenance and deployment - e.g. nis, nfs, http, smtp. Maintenance of YUM RPM repositories for developer workstations as well as VMware VMs. Linux Administration. Script writing, RPM creation, software updates. VMware ESX administration. NetApp SAN administration - nfs, cifs, fcp Documentation and General End User Support (developers and testers).
