Network Consultant

The Network Field Consultant primary area of responsibility is to design and implement network solutions to client customers. This position requires the ability to resolve problems with computer workstations and servers and work with other field techs in the deployment of LANWAN infrastructures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities§Design and Implement Networks based on the Microsoft Small Business Server and advanced server technologies.§Manage implementation projects and resources assigned to any given project.§General server maintenance and LAN support.§Application and Operating system installations.§Test new products echnologies prior to deployment.§Maintaining database of all troubleshooting and analysis performed.§Identifying improvements associated with tools and techniques utilized by Service Team members.§Represent client in a positive, professional and enthusiastic manner when working with customers and staff.§Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and respond with sense of urgency§Ability to document and evolve processes and procedures§Self-motivated and responsive to Management and customers§Strong organizational skills and attention to detail§Experience working with work management tracking software§Technical knowledge and understanding of SMB networks, infrastructure, and equipment.§Demonstrated knowledge of standard field service methods and procedures §Exceptional ability to develop productive and positive relationships.Must have experience consulting for small business and strong experience with MS Small Business Server.§Minimum 4 years experience with the following technologies - Server technologies: (ClusterLB), Citrix, Sharepoint, Windows Operating systems (2000,XP,2003), Active Directory, Exchange Server 2000/2003, Terminal Services, Symantec Backup Exec, Firewall (Sonicwall, Cisco, Wacthguard), Microsoft Office§MCP 70-282 and at least 3 additional MCPs towards MCSEEmail your resumePlease click here,or copy and paste the following link into your email browser, to email your resume.
