Network Configuration Engineers Needed

Microlink Enterprise, Inc. is looking for Configuration Network Engineers and Infrastructure Network Engineers for upcoming projects in the Los Angeles area.  Projects will range from 6 months to 2 or more years depending on contractor performance and workloads.  Candidates must:

· Be able to clearly communication verbally and in written form

· Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, proof required

· Have professional certifications such as CCNA, BICSI RCDD, etc., proof required

· Must have at least 6 verifiable years of experience in the telecommunications industry

· Knowledge of industry standards and best practices

Tasks  and specific skill set requirements:

Configuration Network Engineer: Configuration of wired and wireless equipment, including but not limited to Wide Area Network Edge routers, Chassis based (modular) backbone switches, 8 and 24 port edge switches, 802.11 a/b/g access points and bridges.  Must have knowledge of Radius and TACACS authentication means and methods. Strong hands on experience with LAN platform switch configuration from factory default to compliance with enterprise standards is required. Must have STRONG knowledge of CISCO hardware and software including 3845 routers, 65XX core switches, 2960 and 2940 edge switches, 1242 WLAN access points, 1310 PtP WLAN bridges. Must all know Alcatel Omniswitch 7000, 6600 and LS6200 switches and OmniAccess 43XX WLAN controllers and OmniAccess thin client (LWAP) access points.

Infrastructure Network Engineer: Testing, inspection and documentation of physical layer LAN infrastructure. Must have strong knowledge of project process, WiFi design and deployment expertise, strong knowledge of BICSI and TIA standards, able to review and analyze construction documents for accuracy and compliance, possess hands on experience with pathways, cabling, WLAN designs, test results, As-build drawings, inventories.
