Network Analyst (Information Assurance Specialist)

Due to growth of our company, RedBlack Communications has an opening for a Information Assurance Specialist in the IT Department at our Hollywood, Maryland office.  Major Duties are:

 

·  Apply analytical principles and techniques in support of system design, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, life cycle support, or project management.

 

·  Assist with the development of system requirements documents, design documentation, program plans, configuration management plans, installation and cutover plans, test plans, security vulnerability assessments, program schedules, and related documents.

 

·  Assist with the identification of business leads and the development of cost proposals.

 

·  Occasionally perform as the technical lead for a project.

 

·  Occasionally perform as the business development lead.

 

·  Performs other tasks as needed. 

 

·  Exempt

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a MCSA 2003 certification and will be working toward a MCSE 2003/CCNA. A minimum of 6 years experience with the design, configuration, and installation of network systems is required; experience with network security and a CISSP certificate is preferred. Applicant must be a US citizen and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 

 

Education**: Specialized military training in area of expertise or equivalent, plus additional training in area of expertise. Associate’s Degree from an accredited college preferred. MCSA 2003 certification preferred

Minimal Experience 6 Years
