NetBackup Engineer
Creative Breakthroughs, Inc. is a multi-million dollar provider of information technology services located in the heart of the Troy business district. We provide computer system integration, network security and support services, consulting, staffing and training to fortune 500 companies, mid-size businesses, and boutique operations. In our 18 years of business, we have developed a customer base of over 440 organizations that we service in conjunction with our partners at Symantec, Hitachi, Citrix, Juniper, Patchlink, RSA Security, eEye, Fortinet, PGP and Vontu.
We are currently looking for a NetBackup Engineer to focus on backup, recovery and storage technologies for our clients. This position drives architecture and design storage and data protection solutions including evaluation, certification, deployment and solution support.
Desired Qualifications
Technical and/or engineering experience with proven, high performance solutions teams.Extensive UNIX and scripting experienceExperience with SAN and NAS platforms (Sun, LSI, EMC, HP, HDS, NetApp etc.)Enterprise level knowledge of backup and recovery, disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Working knowledge of networking protocolsWorking knowledge of storage management and database software platforms.Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to clearly articulate concepts and interact with customers, partners, management, sales representatives and other technical staffStrong communication skillsVerifiable referencesAbility to pass a background check5-7 years of experienceAbility to travel 75% nationwide
