Working independently and within a team, the Software Engineer will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle for custom .Net/ SQL Server applications in support of the USMC.Specific Duties:• Software Engineer will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle for custom .Net/ SQL Server applications in support of the USMC. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years directly related work experience are required. Additional Requirements:• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment. • Ability to travel up to 25% or less. • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principals • Experience developing Web-based applications including knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, communication ports, protocols, SSL encryption, HTTP request lifecycle, maintaining state, etc. • Experience working with ASP.Net, and VB.Net • Experience with the .NET framework - 2.0 • Experience writing SQL scripts (Views, Stored Procedures, etc.) • Experience with Microsoft server products including SQL Server and IIS Location: Jacksonville, FL 32099 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree  Â
