Natural Adabas Programmer Analyst

Programmer Analyst – 1-2 Year Contract – Boston, MA

Duties for the assigned subject area:
** Review and appropriately interpret technical and functional system specifications for eligibility applications residing on Mainframe and Web
** Design solutions to implement technical and functional system specifications requirements as defined in technical requirement documentation
** Develop solutions to implement technical and functional system specifications requirements as defined in technical requirement documentation
** Test and Debug solutions that implements technical and functional system specifications requirements as defined in technical requirement documentation
** Coordinate system testing of solutions with Quality Assurance team members
** Coordinate Production implementation of solutions with production control staff
** Report on development progress
** Report on development status
** Participate in team meetings; resolve of action items
** Perform other tasks generally associated with the Analyst programmer function, as needed
Skills:
** Hands on experience in developing, deploying and managing distributed multi tier applications using different web technologies
** Attentiveness to the delivery of quality milestones, in a timely manner
** Extensive experience in developing applications using Natural and Adabas
** Experience in all phases of software development
** Team oriented and collaborative
Experience:
** 3 years Information technology experience
** Experience with a large systems development project
** Desirable if experienced in health care plan subject area and/ or government work
** Desirable if experienced with the Unified Process
