ITAC Solutions is currently seeking an Applications Analyst for our client in Nashville, TN. This is a permenent opportunity with a salary of $55K-$65K

Job Summary: Plans, organizes and coordinates the application support for two or more applications in hospital clinical information system. Coordinates the interaction between hospital clinical users of computer applications, the Information Systems Department and related vendor support personnel. Is responsible for implementation of assigned new applications and ongoing enhancements. Initial focus will be governance and support of Emergency Department Systems. Assesses business needs, recommends and implements information technologies through research, analysis and benchmarking to provide system solutions which meet customer. Consults with and assists users in making the most effective use of computer applications through training, testing, system monitoring, and problem resolution. Competent to work in all phases of application system analysis and project activities. Complies with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Background and knowledge of information systems and/or specialized knowledge of the healthcare industry required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Two to four years experience as a healthcare professional requiring minimal supervision and have a demonstrated proven ability. Additional computer programming and/or emergency department system implementation experience, with demonstrated analytical skills. This person should be comfortable presenting information to large groups as well as senior leadership.
