You will partner with internal CGI resources to provide support and recommendations through requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and implementation plans in order to meet the project deliverables. You will be the cross-functional subject matter expert for Oracle Financials family of product. Other responsibilities include: Review, analyze and recommend process efficiencies; Gather and document business and functional requirements; Partner with business leaders in the organization to meet client’s objectives; Identify, track and analyze key metrics that impact the business; Execute special projects as assigned; Work with key stakeholders and executive sponsors to define project deliverables; Maintain excellent communication regarding project status and priorities with project sponsors, drive planning and tracking of tasks, schedule, resources, dependencies and success criteriaThe following skills are mandatory for this opportunity:• A proven functional professional with at least one+ full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementation and four+ years of industry and/or consulting experience.• In-depth knowledge of Oracle (Financials) especially Oracle 11i and how various modules fit together• Expertise with Oracle 11i application setup and configuration• Strong knowledge of Oracle's core financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, and Budgeting• Experience working with functional business owners• Solid understanding of Project Life Cycle (Requirement, scope, test, etc)• Ability to lead activities such as requirements gathering/analysis, business process design/re-engineering, gap/fit analysis, reporting analysis, CRP testing, user training and production support• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with client users and management, and deliver presentations• Solid client management and consulting skills• Must demonstrate a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle• Ability to run and analyze basic SQL scripts• Ability to retrieve and analyze information from various Oracle tables and modules • Extensive experience with financial applications and transaction flow• General accounting knowledge and understanding of business and accounting processes, including debits & credits, billing, general ledger and expense accounting• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Technology or relevant experience• Experience with MS Office (Power Point, Visio, MS Project, Word, Excel)• Willing to travel regionallyThe following skills are desirable for this opportunity:• Experience with Oracle Internet Expense, Purchasing, and Loans• Experience with reporting tools, ideally Discoverer• Exposure to Oracle R12Education:Undergraduate degree Founded in 1976, CGI Group Inc. is one of the largest independent information technology and business process services firms in the world.
