NYC - Advantage / ERP Experienced Business Analyst (NN 64A) NYC - Advantage / ERP Experienced Business Analyst (NN 64A) Position Description:The mid - senior Advantage Business Analyst joins a long term initiative to upgrade the client’s current financial management system. This multi-million project will be implemented in multiple phases. The successful candidate will join the Budget Integration team and will be immediately focused on reviewing client requirements and developing detail designs. The successful candidate will provide an understanding of user requirements based on past experience with the Advantage platform as well as the client. The mid - senior Advantage Business Analyst must have an in-depth knowledge of the Advantage 2 and Advantage 3 platforms and the have the ability to assist in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives based on user needs and an understanding of the advantage platform. The Mid-Senior Advantage / ERP Experienced Business Analyst will be responsible for:•Analyzing business requirements to determine functional requirements•Authoring and reviewing design documents•Providing functional guidance, supervision, support, training to junior members on the team.The Mid-Senior Advantage / ERP Experienced Business Analyst will be expected to:•Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Advantage 2 and Advantage 3 platforms•Demonstrate advanced analytical and requirements gathering skills•Demonstrate ability to translate the business case analysis and client requirements into design documents•Demonstrate ability to coordinate and lead peer review.The successful candidate must have at least 3 plus years experience with Advantage or 5 years ERP experience, and 5+ years working experience:-In system implementation-With full lifecycle software development practices-Authoring detail designs-Coordinating and Leading peer review sessions-Providing in-depth business knowledge to ensure efficient design, and implementationEssential Skills Required:-Extensive knowledge of the Advantage 2 and Advantage 3 platform or ERP-ability to work well with both business clients and developers.-advanced analytical and requirement gathering skills.-Ability to effectively interface with the client, end-users and other analysts.-Ability to productively work with minimal supervision-Self Motivated-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Ability to work in a virtual team environment-Ability to work under pressure.Nonessential Skills Desired:-Public Sector Government experience-Accounting Background Founded in 1976, CGI Group Inc. is one of the largest independent information technology and business process services firms in the world.
