Relevant Work Experience:: 5+ to 7 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Description:The Partners Research Enterprise Applications group is responsible for designing, developing and implementing solutions for the management of the largest biomedical research program expected to reach $1Billion dollars in the next 3-5 years. We are looking for a .NET Software Engineer I to be responsible for the following: Detailed design and coding of front end, middle tier and database solutions. Participate in the evaluation and analysis of business requirements, and assist in defining technical requirements and software configuration. Collaborate with other developers, Business Analysts, and QA team members to ensure successful project operations are executed. Design, code and test new features and modify/enhance existing features to meet users' needs. Assist in developing and implementing system testing and in debugging application errors. Collaborate with and mentor other members of the team. Work closely with business analysts/users to ensure customization goals are met. Keep management team updated on status of projects.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years professional development experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework, using ASP.NET and the C# development language. Ability to design, develop, modify and implement 3-tier web applications using Visual Studio. VSS Experience (Team Foundation Server is a plus.) Experience developing web services and server/user controls. IIS / ASP.NET monitoring and performance tuning skills. Solid Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and relational database knowledge. Solid SSIS skills and familiarity with application integration methodologies Understanding how scalability and performance requirements can affect coding requirements and design approach. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Self-motivated problem solver. Excellent written and oral communication skills as this position involves some direct interfacing with business users.
