If you’re looking for an exciting contract opportunity at a well known firm in the IT consulting industry, this role is for you! We’re actively looking for a complex UI/GUI designer to work on-site in Stamford, CT or Houston, TX. The contract will last at least 6 months.

Job Summary:
Senior Developer/Engineer- GUI contract opportunity with a focus in .net/C# provides technical guidance to the project team by taking responsibility for a specific component or track of the project architecture/SDLC. The qualified candidate will have solid knowledge of Winforms.
Skills Required:
· Complex UI/GUI designer
· 4-7 years experience
· .NET / C# Expert - .NET Framework 1.0 - 3.5
· Common Language Runtime experience
· Framework and infrastructure building, and OO experience, UML, C# Generics and Multithreading
· Composite Application Block (CAB), Winforms.NET and WPF
· Data modeling/development using SQL Server / Oracle
· Nice to have: LINQ, Win32, C++, COM/DCOM/COM+, .NET Remoting Agile / SCRUM experience
· Experience in Financial Services is a plus
