Learn more about our program at www.csc.com/tsa Essential Job Functions Oversees network engineers and administrators to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and to maintain network efficiency. Oversees documentation procedures to insure adherence to existing standards and processes. Provides support and assists in monitoring aspects of network architecture, planning, implementation, creation of operational procedures, security audits, performance monitoring, and reporting to ensure optimal business networking solutions. Performs technical analysis of complex software, hardware, and transmission facility using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations. Maintains relationships and serves as technical liaison with vendors to ensure that network developmental needs are met. Ensures that operational routines and procedures are adhered to. Assigns tasks to ensure that proper communication and escalation protocols are followed and that documentation is complete, accurate and current. Coordinates with departments to optimize system development and problem resolution affecting cross-platform applications and network operations. Recommends and/or initiates the selection and hiring of employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Makes recommendations for salary increases, transfers and terminations to manager. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field preferred Certified Network Engineer (CNE) certification preferred Four or more years of experience as a Network Communications Specialist, Network Engineer, or Network Analyst Four or more years of supervisory experience included Experience working with network systems and networking principles and practices Experience working with networking software and hardware Experience working with security systems and implementation procedures Possess Department of Defense (DoD) security access of ADP I, ADP II, or ADP III Pass background checks such as NAC, NACLC, and/or SSBI Other Qualifications Experience with VoIP products from Cisco, Nortel, Avaya needed Experience with SIP/H.323 protocols desired Experience with Provisioning, Billing and other OSS functions desired Experience with mobility management desired Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Secret Create Success
