In this position, you will be the one who maintains computing environment; establishes network specifications; establishes network; maintains network performance; secures network; prepares users; upgrades network ; updates job knowledge; protects organization's value; accomplishes organization goals.

Qualifications

Advanced LAN knowledge, including Ethernet, hubs, switches, TCP/IP, and network configuration.

Experience relaying sensitive information to appropriate parties. Keeps clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports updated based on their information needs.

Handles complex problems effectively. Separates key issues and generates multiple solutions.

Uses customer-oriented etiquette to get information. Greets clients, establishes rapport, projects professional tone, listens attentively and responds effectively to customer complaints.

Ability to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience.

Is team-oriented and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.

Experience with network maintenance and troubleshooting including security services, load monitoring, system resiliency, back-up, and restore.

Knowledge of network terminology and standards of deployment. Experience developing policies regarding core infrastructures, such as backup procedures, security policies, and access permissions.

Experience in installation and maintenance of LAN switches, managed and non-managed hubs, network interface cards, multi-protocol switches, routers, and WAN technologies.

Strong VPN skills. Applies knowledge of Internet protocols, utilizing VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls to secure routed networks.

Manages time effectively and prioritizes completing tasks to meet deadlines.

Web server administration skills, including setup, maintaining security, and performance tuning on Web servers like IIS and Apache.

Exhibits meticulous attention to detail. Is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work.

Has excellent attendance and can handle responsibility.

Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues. Meets goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles, or time constraints.

Highly productive with minimal guidance or supervision.

Skilled at demonstrating patience, even in demanding situations.

Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.

Experience with MS SQL or MySQL Server database installation, configuration, administration, design, and maintenance.

Familiar with POP3 and SMTP, including mail access performance issues and POP3 and SMTP error handling.
