Microsoft VB.Net Developers Needed - Central Illinois

Currently we are sourcing Senior VB.Net Developers for a long term contract.  This position will be based in Springfield, Illinois, with duration of 6-9 months with the option to extend. The project will begin in mid-late September 2008.

Ideal candidates will be experienced and compatible with a consulting lifestyle and be flexible to travel as needed.

Minimum Requirements Include:

· 3 years Microsoft Visual Basic dot net (VB.Net)

· 3 years OO Analysis and Design

· 3 years ASP.Net

· 3 years SQL Server

· 3 years XML

· 3 years HTML, DHTML

· 3 years Sharepoint

· Strong analytical abilities

· Strong communication

· Strong self-direction with ability to work with minimal supervision

· Strong mentoring

· Strong Technical Lead Experience

 

Responsibilities:

· Complete OO SDLC lifecycle experience including: requirements analysis, detailed design, technical specification creation, prototyping, development, test and implementation using Visual Basic.Net

· Developers will need to serve in a dual role of senior developer on separate projects, while also mentoring and leading 2 or more other junior VB .Net / SQL staff developers on their project.

· Project duration for up to 1 year with an option to extend.
