Microsoft SharePoint Administrator

Morgan Keegan & Co, Inc., one of the South’s premier regional investment firms and a Regions Financial company, has an immediate opening within the Information Technology group for a SharePoint Administrator in the Goodlett Farms Facility in Memphis, TN.

The successful candidate will be working with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and will need a sufficient amount of work experience in this area along with some college background.  Please see a brief list of duties that will be required of this position.

§ Perform software installation and configuration, problem analysis and troubleshooting.

§ Identify and resolve problems affecting reliability, availability and supportability

§ Monitor system performance and overall status

§ Knowledgeable in the following technologies used by SharePoint

o  IIS 6.0

o  SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008

o  Active Directory

o  .NET

o  SharePoint Designer (used for supporting web group)

o  Microsoft Office / Exchange

§ Be able to deploy web part solutions (using interface and stsadm)

§ Backup and restore SharePoint Portals, sites

§ Manage permissions as needed on a site by site basis

§ Create Sites/Site Collections on an as needed basis

o  Understand the taxonomies and design of web sites

§ Experience with Virtual environments

§ Tune the Search functions using best practices

§ Create web parts when needed using OOB components

Job/Educational Requirements:  Work experience with Microsoft SharePoint accompanied with an Associates and/or Bachelors degree related to IT.
