We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to focus on our successful Microsoft business relationship.  In this role, you will drive our Microsoft practice and grow the relationship beyond the existing groups.  This role requires an experienced “hunterâ€� who thrives on the challenge of identifying and establishing new relationships using consultative and solution-oriented sales approaches.  The ideally candidate has experience selling technical consulting services.  This position is perfect for the experienced sales professional who has the demonstrated ability to identify and develop strategic relationships, sell business solutions consultatively, and generate dynamic sales growth.

 

A successful track record in consulting services selling is essential. You should have experience working with Directors and above and understand how to build meaningful relationships with them. You will engage clients with your credibility, as well as your ability to listen and harness the intellectual capital within Ramp to generate the right tailored solutions encompassing leveraging the breadth of our services. You will need to balance a single-minded, commercial drive for new business with nurturing relationships for the long term.  This Microsoft Business Development Manager will report to the Director of Business Development.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

· Responsible for identifying, prospecting and securing business opportunities to support new revenue growth through outgoing sales calls, warm-calling, networking and leveraging existing relationships.

· Display exceptional strategic selling skills, including discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing.

· Identify client business and performance issues through research and effective consulting/questioning skills.

· Establishing rapport with key decision makers and influencers including senior marketing and technical leaders.

· Create and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction by consistently providing remarkably memorable service to prospects and clients.

 

Qualifications:

· BS/BA or higher degree preferred in business or marketing.

· Requires a minimum of 5-7 years in the consulting services and/or staffing services industry selling.

· Knowledge of technical / professional services is desired.

· Ability to build customer rapport through consultative selling and creative relationship building at all corporate levels, including effective and tactful communication.

· Demonstrated ability to communicate the value proposition, organizational strengths and capabilities of the services offered.

· Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with the experience needed to credibly represent Ramp’s values and quality commitment.
