Ultrasound Imaging & Therapy Your Responsibilities: We are seeking an individual to join our medical ultrasound research team. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team. Key areas of responsibility include: interacting with clinicians to determine their needs and develop novel product concepts, designing and constructing experimental prototypes, algorithm development, and experimental validation of concepts. The successful candidate will work with other Philips divisions to drive productization of these ideas and interact with other experts in the field. Your Profile: We require the following credentials for this position: Either a PhD in physics, biomedical engineering or equivalent, or an MSc and at least 5 years research experience At least 3 years experience in medical ultrasound research that includes clinical experience Strong communication skills in written and verbal EnglishThe ideal candidate will have experience in some of the following areas: ultrasound transducers, acoustics, beamforming, commercial ultrasound platforms, signal processing. Clinical experience, including knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, particularly in the cardiac domain, would also be beneficial.
