Maximo Functional Systems Engineer
The work required to perform includes, but is not limited to, the following:– Lead or assist in the data gathering, development, training and rollout of standard and custom based enterprise asset management features– Perform detailed Functional review of current Amtrak Business Practices, and provide recommendations for improvements based on industry best practices and the functionality provided by the Maximo application– Develop and update detailed documentation of existing Amtrak Business Practices– Lead or assist in the Functional design of Maximo reports according to the project requirementsPrimary Skills: 1. BS in Engineering or Business related field and / or equivalent work experience2. Strong Maximo 6 functional knowledge required to help execute numerous sub-projects within overall EAM Program3. Minimum of five to eight (5 to 8) years of hands-on experience in a functional position with the implementation and utilization of fully integrated enterprise asset management system4. Minimum of four to six (4 to 6) years Maximo experience 5. Heavy experience with Maximo work management, including the utilization of Assets, Locations, Work Orders, Job Plans and PMs6. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a project team environment7. Must have strong project team experience with successful project results8. Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff from line workers to upper management9. Ability to create and update detailed documentationSecondary Skills: 1. Maximo Certification2. Working knowledge of work and maintenance management and best practices and processesGeneral knowledge of workflow processes, best practices and business processes as they relate to Maximo
