Job Description:  We are looking for a Maximo Application Administrator to support an engineering and mechanical operations applications and systems.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Should have 5 years relevant experience with production systems, ideally in a manufacturing or transportation environment, performing the following tasks: In-house expert in Application evolution, versions, enhancements.Liaison with other industry users and input to Maximo User Communities.Quickly assess application’s ability to meet changing business needs and challenges.Assists Systems Administrator(s) with technical issues.Works closely with Business/Requirements analysts for requirements and technical designs.Provides all major communications and leadership with IT.Understand and pro-actively plans interfaces and relationships with other applications in Operations architecture.Single point of contact for the Program Management Office (“PMO�) and architecture effortsUnderstanding of technologies and architecture in the service (incident, problem, change, request, and configuration) management areas.Member of Engineering Maximo Core Development team.Provide Maximo expertise in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (“SDLC�).Assist with the production of IT approved Project Plans and Operational Ready Documentation.Configure the database and applications in Enterprise Asset Management (“EAM�).Develop and apply clear understanding of EAM from the user point of view.Database setup, security, maintenance and customization.Direct Vendor(s) as appropriate.Work hand in hand with the other EAM Systems Administrator.
