Marketing Specialist/Office Administrator

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Client development activities including but not limited to client prospecting, client support, sales lead qualification, sales lead processing and client list maintenance

2. Generate high quality sales leads for account executives

3. Engage prospective customers in meaningful conversation that leads to high quality sales lead generation for account executives

4. Develop new clients within target accounts by researching customer lists and Internet

5. Plan, coordinate and implement local marketing events and campaigns

6. Work with corporate marketing team to execute marketing campaigns in local markets

7. Generate event attendance through direct mail invitations, cold calls or other tactics

8. Participate in scheduled teleconferences and meetings

9. Assist writing case studies and win wires.

10. Maintain self study to become knowledgeable of company’s services along with knowledge of industry

11. Collaborate with local Microsoft Marketing team on campaigns, events and product launches

12. Assure local supply of sales and marketing collateral and client gift items

13. Perform other business development administrative duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Communications, Business, Technology or equivalent business experience.

· Self starting individual with interest or past experience in sales and marketing or professional services

· Previous IT sales or sales experience, a plus

· Minimum of two years experience in customer service or telemarketing

· Aggressive, persistent and optimistic

· Ability and willingness to make cold calls

· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong business analytic skills and advanced Internet research skills

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

· Demonstrated understanding and practical application of Microsoft Office software programs

· Thorough understanding of different marketing communications vehicles

· Superior time management and follow through skills; ability to multi task and prioritize work schedules to meet project due dates

· Strong creative and problem solving skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast pace team-based environment
