We are currently seeking a Market Services Contract Analyst in Austin, TX.

Education and Experience Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or relevant field.  An equivalent combination of related education, training or experience may be considered.

 

· Some experience in energy markets helpful.

 

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task with the ability to plan, coordinate and complete work assignments.

 

· Strong analytical, problem solving, oral, and written communication skills.

 

· Proficient computer skills in common business applications such as Excel, Word, SQL, Power Point, Access, database interfaces.

 

· Skills in working with data bases and web interfaces and aptitude for learning company processes and procedures in support of the operation of the Client Service department.

Essential Job Functions

· Supports Wholesale Client Services staff in working Nodal transition FAQ, answering and logging WCS general 3900 line, and helping with market notices.

· Prepares documentation on various processes, procedures and business rules to support training and other reports.

· Supports projects, as necessary, in support of Nodal market transition.

· Uses computer based tools in support of Nodal transition and other business disputes (Excel macros, SQL data queries).

· Participates as needed in teams and meetings to resolve Market Participants' business issues.

· Performs data gathering and develops reports in response to requests for information by Market Participants and others as applicable.

· Assist in posting of information and maintenance of existing information on website to assure consistency and clarity.

· Responsible for data entry and quality assurance needed to maintain accurate market participant registration data in registration system.

· Effective oral and written communication skills.

Facilitates and promotes effective interdepartmental relations.
