Sustaining and NPI on innovative Ultrasound Transducer products. Your Responsibilities: Work as a member of the Transducer Manufacturing Engineering Team supporting both the introductions of new Ultrasound transducer products and current production. Participate on product generation teams. Provide feedback to the product design team in the area of design for manufacturability (DFM). Assists with product design where appropriate. Responsible for the engineering tasks associated with design transfer, qualification, and introduction of products and their associated manufacturing processes and tests to meet cost and quality goals. Provides responsive engineering support once products are released. Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/process engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing or design engineering with proven experience as a problem solver. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time. Experience in process development and statistical techniques, Six Sigma Black Belt a plus. Demonstrated experience regarding the validation, introduction, and manufacturing of medical devices. Demonstrated knowledge of regulations regarding medical products. Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills.
