Manager of IT Business Analysis

We serve a diverse customer base within the health care community, including health care payers, providers, employers, pharmaceutical companies, consumers, workers’ compensation and auto liability insurers, and government agencies.    Manager of Information System Business Analysts will lead people and a variety of efforts to support employer products, services and ETL systems in support of strategic business goals.  Manages all aspects of projects and business professionals demonstrating a large-scale company wide project expertise. Manages multiple projects and project plans concurrently while demonstrating an understanding of the relationship and interdependencies of corporate projects. Responsible for completion of complex or long-term projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines Work with management to design cost and cost benefits Work with Operations and Business Services on staffing models and pricing as new products and services are rolled out Work with product, marketing and sales staff to create marketing and sales material Outline training needs for staff in the specifics of new programs and keep them informed of new developments and enhancements Manage staff of 5 or more Business Analyst Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry and the application of technology within the industry Assesses performance, rewards results, and motivates Delegates, integrates activities & resolves conflicts Responsible for managing the delivery of high quality solutions from project initiation, requirements gathering, system design, testing, and solution implementation Create and maintain relationships with other Employer functions Work closely with contracting partners, ETL architects, product engineers, DBAs, QA, etc. to produce best in class products and services Develop methodologies and best practices to create greatest value for the systems and services being providedQualifications  Experience with business requirements, use cases, UAT and operation deployment of products and services Familiar with technology concepts Experience with SDLC process Demonstrated experience managing relationships with technologists Knowledge of data warehousing, decision support and ETL solutions Blend of both strategic and tactical abilities Demonstrated leadership skills Proven success working within a complex multi-disciplined environment Ability to develop effective cross-functional relationships Strong planning, organization and project management skills Excellent communication skills Familiarity with health care trends Results Oriented  Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
