Manager Systems Development Information Technology and Telecommunications Int’l

 

Job Requirements

Masters degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent experience. 

 

Minimum ten (10) years relevant experience, including five years (5) in a supervisory or management role.  Relevant experience includes: 1) Development of major SAP application systems from start to finish; installation/enforcement of development methodologies and standards; and multiple concurrent project management.  Detailed knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain management processes.

 

Minimum three (3) years of experience in process analysis and SAP configuration for the Materials Management (MM) and/or Production Planning (PP) modules in an SAP 4.6 environment or higher is required. SAP SCM, APO and/or SRM experience is a plus. Knowledge of Inventory Control and/or Flexnet is a plus. Project management/lead experience in the MM and/or PP is a requirement. 

 

Minimum three (3) years experience managing implementation of SAP core R/3 and BI to globally dispersed subsidiaries.  Based on project assignments up to 60 % travel will be required.

 

Functional Areas Supported:  Cleveland Manufacturing Operations (Machines and Consumables), Supply Management and globally dispersed subsidiary manufacturing operations. 

 

Manage day to day systems support for the production planning, production execution, and supply management departments which includes troubleshooting system problems, training as needed, and development of functional designs for ABAP reports. Manage assigned projects and team to design, configure, and implement systems to support end to end processes.

 

Manage a matrix team to implement SAP core R/3 and BI to subsidiaries on a global basis.

 

Project Management: Ability to plan and schedule major projects involving multiple ITT professionals and utilizing matrix resources when needed.

 

Analytical Ability:  Exceptional analytical skills. Ability to perform analysis pertaining to entire enterprise including international/global issues. 

 

Problem Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to resolve Company and enterprise organizational and operational problems.  Ability to clearly articulate crisis impact to senior and executive management.  Able to determine best course of action and make solid decisions expeditiously.

 

Planning, Organizing and Control:  Ability to direct planning, organization and control of projects and activities spanning the enterprise.  Superior initiating and coordinating skills.

 

Leadership Qualities: Superb business/technical leadership qualities.  Accepts total responsibility for projects and/or programs spanning international business issues or matrix management responsibilities for multiple teams.
