We will consider candidates willing to work at our Wily Division Headquarters in South San Francisco, CA or our office in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will have a strong background leading the development and delivery of complex software applications. In addition, they will have demonstrated a commitment to effective software development processes and best practices, and a technical understanding of Java programming, web application development, and client-server software.Key Responsibilities:* Leading our team in delivering a great product * Hiring to meet our standard of excellence * Ensuring software is delivered on time and with high quality * Assigning tasks to individuals * Coaching and career development of team members * Working with other functions to clarify product requirements * Establish and maintain strong feedback link from end users to development * Coordinate efforts and schedules with other development teams at Wily and CA * Represent our UI team across the broader CA organizationKey Requirements:* Significant managerial experience in commercial software development * A solid track record of successful projects in a variety of software applications * Commitment to the success of every customer * Clarity and precision in verbal and written communication * B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science or a related field Candidates will benefit from experience in any of the following areas: enterprise software development, client-server software, Swing, and thin client technologies such as Flash/Flex, Silverlight and JavaScript.
