Mainframe Programmer with Healthcare

Celerity of Mechanicsburg is currently hiring Mainframe Programmers/ Analysts in the Harrisburg area.  Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform all phases of systems life cycle development. These positions involve customer interaction; therefore strong verbal and written communication is needed.  Organization and the ability to problem solve and quickly grasp new concepts is a must.

Desired Skills:

· Demonstrate structured coding techniques in Legacy skills such as COBOL

· Demonstrated ability for creating system and coding changes from technical requirements:

o  Creating and testing technical changes that meet specific requirements

o  Communicating with leaders and project mangers

o  Creating testing script and testing situations

o  Understanding the scope of the changes required

· Responsible for estimating individual work packages

· Experience working with very diverse individuals in a high matrix environment

·Ability to understand abstract technical information and communicate it to non-technical stakeholders

·Healthcare experience preferred
