MSP Project Coordinator

Resource to perform the following functions:



Creates and executes project work plans, revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.

Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards.

Documents and communicates risks to ensure a successful delivery of the project with minimal exposure.

Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Under general direction and coaching, assists project and program managers in creating and maintaining project planning documents and reports.

Supports project metrics analysis, team communication, resource planning, risk analysis, report generation, and documentation control.

Adheres to Project Management Office policies, procedures, and methodologies.

Performs complete range of standard administrative duties by utilizing appropriate PC applications to prepare and compose correspondence, status reports, minutes, numerical data, tracking of project assignments, charts and forms in an accurate manner.

Provides support to ensure client/customer service expectations are met.

Establish and maintain project files.

Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.

Manages project budget.

Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.

Holds regular status meetings with project team.

Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.

Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully



Skills/Qualifications:



1. Minimum of 5-7 years of administrative / project support experience.

2. Knowledge of MS Project and Share Point required.  Extensive knowledge of MS-Project required.

3. High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

4. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills required.

5. Strong organizational and follow-through skills, and particularly strong attention to detail required.

6. Demonstrated flexibility, self-discipline and ability to work independently, as well as within a group, required.

7. Ability to work effectively with multiple clients required.

8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and timeframes required.

9. Ability to interact effectively with client representatives at various levels required.

10. Ability to perform as a self-starter, with motivation to consistently produce high quality results required.
